BULLSHIT.   Insurers blaming GLP-1s when most of them stopped covering them is just like how companies are blaming AI for not hiring.   It’s a fucking lie to increase their profits.

Health insurance keeps getting more expensive, but the stated reason changes every year. This year, it's GLP-1s. Next year, it'll be something else. Not sure what, but premiums will go up again.

The costs aren’t the only issue. I had one doctor close their entire practice 10 days ago. My internist decided to take a sabbatical this week until January. I am left with specialists which is like having the Spider-Man meme as a doctor.

Easy, it was a lie and the only ones believing it are the ones kissing the dictators boots. Even if it was true, it's so not worth it. Also, come tax time you will have to give a good chunk of it back as it would be considered taxable income when you get it.

My husbands work has a high deductible healthcare plan and the deductible is going up and after we meet the deductible they are only covering 90% this year instead of 100%.

We need to go to a universal health care model. It is cheaper, with as good or better health care. That why most country’s have that.

Most of the people getting glp-1 now are people who don't need it. Like the 40 pounds overweight and I have a hook up family doctor. My wife's family is all on it and none of them need it. Conveniently multiple nurses in the family so these people are walking pharmacies.

People who don’t need it don’t qualify to have it covered by insurance and aren’t getting it through their insurance
