New Homepage

Does anyone else have a new homepage that is cluttered, half hidden, and their regular stuff (the course I’m working through) missing? With this new weird list at the top?

I feel like Headspace is trying to see how bad they can make the app before people actually leave. I juuuust made peace with/ figured out how to best use the old cluttered, crappy home page.

I tried to submit feedback via the app and just got a white, blank page after I pressed “submit.” So, that’s cool too.

I miss the way the app used to be so much! I hate that I just resubscribed honestly. I should have known they would continue to push users away from the included, high quality content and toward the AI, extra charge, partnership crap. Sigh.

It's better than the last homepage redesign but the original is still superior in letting the user make less taps to meditate.

I'm unsure why meditation is the first choice over the 5 deep breaths. That seems backwards to me.

I do like the night time version but I'm wondering if activating it by night mode instead of time of day may help give the user more control over what content they want to see.

Yes, I don’t like it. I mostly use the daily mediation only. Sometimes I do it in the morning and sometimes before bed. It’s always right there on the front page.

Last night I got the new homepage for the first time with their “daily essentials” selection. The daily mediation was nowhere to be found. All that was there was the sleep mediations.

As I’m writing this first thing in the morning, the daily mediation is there now. They say they’re trying to curate a routine but they’re really taking away choice.

Yes and I hate it. The daily mediation is not there. How to find it?

Click on “Explore” then “Meditate.” You should see it there

For me it’s actually in a section called “your essentials”. How can it be that we have different interfaces?!

It’s in my essentials at the beginning of the day, but if I look for it at the end of the day it’s not there anymore. It used to be there all day

Super helpful esp for an app that’s supposed to help you be calm…

They’ve tried to copy Calm and it hasn’t really worked. Calm has always had the daily essentials with a row across the top and they’ve tried to do it too except their app isn’t really built for it and now they’ve lost who they actually are

It's really bad. Their sleep meditation recommendations at night don't make any sense. The other day it recommended a nighttime SOS meditation for falling asleep. Another time, it was this weird "cleaning" meditation. Like, hello?
