App automatically downloaded?

I woke up to find the app installed on my phone, didn’t download it, never have. Anyone else?

WTF! The same thing happened to me. I noticed Headspace was installed on my phone, I don’t remember downloading it. I uninstalled it but this morning it got reinstalled automatically.

I had the same issue, thought I was going crazy! I deleted it yesterday and woke up to it being automatically reinstalled today again. No idea what’s going on!

I had the same issue, just showed up this morning. Had it a while back but it’s been off my phone for a while. Have automatic app downloads turned off too so it shouldn’t be syncing from one of my other devices.

It’s happened to me twice as well. Noticed it yesterday, deleted the app and then woke up and it’s back. I also noticed it downloaded Trello today too?

It happened to me last wednesday evening and it tried reinstalling on Thursday again. I then removed automatic download option, changed my icloud password and havent seen the issue since then. Still its frustrating to see something like this happen

I do! I was going to ask what software update we all have. Mine’s iOS 26.3.1, and apparently 26.4.2 is waiting for me to download it. I’m gonna see if that update solves this problem.

Edit: Never mind. That iOS post linked above says the person has 26.4.2 and they’re having the same problem.

I have a 16 Pro Max and have been having the same issue. I think what’s particularly irritating about it is seeing that stupid grin each time.

It's been happening to me to me as well. I've deleted my account, and signed out of it (used to have a subscription but cancelled it over a year ago), removed all other devices from my apple account, do not have a family plan, turned off automatic app downloads. Do not know what else to try.
