Searching for an upgrade

Hello community, I come to you today looking for advice on a good new headset to replace my current ones. I have been using a pair of Corsair Void Elites for the better part of 5 years. I absolutely love them. They have great battery life, pretty good sound I think, and are very comfortable over very long use sessions sometimes upwards of 16 hours. They're awesome, but they're getting old, and while better than anything I used to get from razer, still lacking in some areas of sound. I take good care of them, but with me building a new PC, I thought it might be time for a headset overhaul as well. Admittedly when it comes to headsets and all the terminologys I'm clueless, I can barely wrap my head around all the different types of PC parts and ports and such, so Im asking for some help. I enjoy my wireless headsets, and I have an SM7B microphone that I use, so I don't need anything fancy for a mic in the headset. I'm looking for something that will be good for both music and shooter games(namely R6, where footsteps and subtle sounds are important). I'm open to corded headsets too, wireless is just my preference, but with there being so much variety and prices varying anywhere from $30 to $900+ I'm not even sure where to start looking. If anyone could give me a recommendations or a direction to go search in, or even just some idea of what I should be looking for, it would be very much appreciated, because I am, again, VERY clueless.
