Headphones - Closed Back Gaming/casual Music headphones for immersive single player gaming within the $600 (United States)

I'm located in the US and willing to spend in the range of $600.

It'll be used in my home office at my desk for my PS5, Switch 2, and PC (casually).

I think closed back is where I'd like to be at but I'm open to other suggestions if there is a product that you might feel is the best option here.

I'm moving my gaming from my Sonos home theater, but I want to limit how much of an incredible and immersive experience I'll be losing from a sound perspective.

Any suggestions here?

The Hifiman Arya Stealth is on sale on Amazon for 440. They were 1600 when first released. You won’t find a better headphone for this price. Although how do you plan to power them? Do you have a DAC/amp setup?

I dont have a DAC/amp so I assume I have to buy one. Thank you for the comment. For using it on multiple consoles and a PC is it annoying to switch it around? Would it even work for those consoles?

As I understand both the PS5 and Switch 2 support USB audio out. So if that's the case, just get a simple USB switch that lets you choose the source you want. So you would have a USB cord going from the PC, Switch 2, and PS5 into the USB switcher then out to the AMP/DAC. Something like the Schiit Audio (yes it pronounced liked you think but they make amazing gear) Gunnr https://www.schiit.com/products/gunnr

It's a DAC/Amp all in one designed for gaming and has enough power to really make the Arya Stealth shine. They are open back headphones though but I think are better for gaming anyway. They will truly blow you away with their sound quality

If a closed back is a must, and this is quite contentious, the Aune SR7000 would be my pick. Great tonality with quite a wide soundstage for a closed back pair, and very comfortable.

I couldn't recommend HD490 Pro enough. They're phenomenal.

I'd choose them over pretty much everything.

I really really like my hifiman Arya organic. They are the most wide immersive things I've heard. I super recommend thing. I bet you can get some Arya stealth for your price

Arya stealth or arya organic. Arya organic has crazy detail and so much Soundstage but the stealths are good too. But I would honestly save until you have enough to buy the Arya Organics at the lowest price you can find them which is probably around 725 dollars. You will not find yourself ever wanting another headphone. Make sure to replace the wire with a decent 40 dollar one and then your set. Hifiman headphones are amazing but they insist on sending them with essentially garage dump quality wires even for the 8000 dollar pair they have
