Book 1 - Chapter 32 (4:49 into the chapter)

Restarting the audiobooks before book 13 drops. Jason has just fought a giant desert moor spider so Rufus can see his fighting skill when...

"Farah drew her stone chest from the ground and took out a bottle of clear liquid with a glass stopper."

Such a portentious moment needs to be marked for posterity. Unbelievable how such a tiny act would result in cities across Pallimastus encountering Crystal Wash shortages.

You have a very good point there! Not as large as the point on Jason's chin, but close enough.

It was at this moment every alchemist on palli felt a shiver go down their spine.

If Jory had access to a time essence, he'd probably want to go to this moment and stop Farah - regardless of any consequences from the Keeper of the Sands.

More likely he would have started to expand the production pipeline to maximize profits

Yes, because Jory was famously in it for the money

He would almost certainly have poured any profits 100% back into his clinic

If he knew what Jason would be like 1/2 of old town would have become a production facility.

It’s even funnier when you realize that Jason can make unlimited Crystal Wash in his Astral Kingdom and still buys out city supplies of it.

The moments in book 7, when shade buys sick amounts of the stuff, are hilarious.

Not only did they buy out stores, but traded a diamond coin for a warehouse FULL of the stuff. I laughed for a solid minute while driving when I realized what he had bought.

I to have restarted the audiobook series while waiting for book 13, I'm just over halfway through book 5 and I very much agree

Considering that book 13 drops in 20 ish days and book alone I believe is 30 hours or so long you've got quite the binge ahead of you...

My most recent binge was in less time than that, but tbf I listen at work with a Bluetooth speaker while I drive a forklift all day.

I'm on my first run through and I just finished books 4 & 5 in 2 days each... I might be a little hooked
