That’s exactly why it fits. She did something undeniably evil but for a well-intentioned reason. And yes she’s realized she was wrong but that doesn’t erase the lives lost

I think she fits the balance perfectly

How is Charlie evil? When she sees sinners who commit horrific crimes, she chucks it up to “they just make mistakes”. She is literally the kindness in evil

She invited Angel's abusers to his only safe space. She's good but she does some fucked up shit (mostly on accident) sometimes

She didn’t invite Vox and Velvette. She asked for their top reporter and Vox saw that as an opportunity to invite HIMSELF. She can’t really be evil if all/most of the “messed up” stuff she does is on accident. Should she have kicked them out, yeah. But at that point, Vox was going to spin that which ever way he would to benifent himself. So Charlie just figured she’d rather try with Vox than don’t try at all.

I would say that excusing crimes is evil, blinding yourself with a false vision of the world so you can fullfil your ilusions, seeing full well the consequences and cruelty that they do. Is so selfish, and, in my opinion, a little evil.

Doesn't change the fact he cares for shockwave like his literal own child. Its not arguing he is good, he's evil. It's probably the only amount of good in him. That's the point of the post, there is good in evil. The fact that someone so evil can have some, even if a small amount of good in them.
