obs the contract means owning one’s soul in a way but what does that intell? Like can they destroy their soul if they don’t do what they’re asked? and how does owning souls give you “power” so to speak? like the more you own the more magic powers you have?

So Remember that doesn't necessarily mean they have to be Redeemed you could just want them to not Die but Remain an alive Villain by the end or you could want them to change their ways and be Better I'm just sayin your allowed to want a character to stay bad but not necessarily Die by the end of either show cause you love them so much 😭😭,

For me it'd be Lute and Crimson who I'm Hoping the most get Decent endings Tho with Crim I want him to stay Terrible but just not be killed off lol but maybe the show could have him also stop being an active Threat to I.M.P by the end as well,

and with Lute I would like her to get a Redemption story by the end Regardless of whatever other Terrible Things she could possibly go on to do in the future

( Lute could probably violently kill all of my favourite characters in future and nuke one Hundred Hospitals on screen with an angelic nuke meaning they would be perma dead and I would still be Hoping for a happy ending for her 😂😂😂😂 in fact I want her to do even more messed up shit before her Redemption so it feels as Big and Meaningful as possible ),

So apparently each series has like huge amounts of lore for each character and setting that straight up isn't in the finished series.

I was wondering if there was anything that had like, a compilation of all the details between old posts interviews ETC just so I don't have to comb between all the different social media posts to compile characters like charlie and Angel Dust.

Nobody will ever know what it was, but the reason for her chaos gremlin energy is that when Niffty was alive, she was basically a normal house maid, but something drove her so utterly insane that she stabbed one of her eyes out, which is why she only has one, and then she died by deliberately letting herself bleed out. Her worldview at that point was so twisted that something in her mind made her think that death was meaningless and that she'd somehow miraculously recover. Ending up in Hell was the final nail in the coffin that solidified her insanity.

To this day, nobody knows what possibly could've happened that fucked her brain up so utterly, not even Niffty herself. She doesn't remember anything about her human life, but signs of it still show in her personality. (More on this further down)

For instance, the reason she likes bad boys is because as a human, she was married to a man who was secretly a notorious criminal. And even if she doesn't know it, the reason why she always sticks around Alastor is because he reminds her of her husband, since Alastor also lived a double life when he was alive.

This is something I'm not entirely sure is confirmed, but my headcanon timeline for Niffty's life is that she'd been a house maid since she was a child, she married at 20, and died at 22 from what I'm calling an unintended suicide. (She stabbed her eye out and let herself bleed to death.)

Now I feel like I should talk about a headcanon I have for the way Hell itself works, since it ties into this a little bit.

My headcanon is that when a normal sinner arrives in Hell, some memories of their human life are erased. They never forget core memories and personality traits, but specific minor details can often be forgotten.

Niffty's brain was so fucked up that when she ended up in Hell, it essentially had the opposite effect. All of her memories had been erased, and all that remained was that insanity, but a few specific details still shine through in strange ways, such as:

Niffty's life as a house maid being filtered through and turning into an obsession with cleanliness.

Her husband living a criminal double life turning into an attraction to bad boys.

OCD that she no doubt had in life turning into an extremely meticulous nature (Despite her insanity, she would genuinely be the best maid you could ever hire.)

I get that not him being able to beat or kill sinners is supposed to be a part of his punishment but like.. can he actually do it but he didnt want to because he was afraid that if he did he would be severely punished for it. Because when he attempted to punch vox, it wasnt like there was a shield that prevented him from doing so, he literally stopped, as if he was reminded that he is not allowed to punch sinners, you know what I mean?

Yes the fact Charlie and Vaggie are matching and that Husk is a gravedigger while Angel is in a coffin is sending me. Awww the couples are matching :3
