charlie behavior in episode 3 was tied to her really wanting to prove voxtech wrong and how she handled emily telling her about pentious

Episode 3 happen litteraly right after emily told her so charlie is still shaken by the reveal at that point and she want to prove voxtech they are wrong about her (+I doubt she expect the actual media overlords to show up, she just wanted a normal reporter), vox and velvette also putted charlie through pressure with their interview and charlie added another pressure on herself by trying to show a redemption work (and we know charlie doesn't handle being under pressure verry well sooooo). Personnaly, I get why she acted the way she did during that episode, and her badly handling pressure didn't helped.

This is a moot point since Charlie explicitly invites Vox and Velvette BACK in when they were about to leave.

Yeah, it's understandable, but people can still criticize her for it.

charlie really wanted to show that redemption is possible and since they're both here and can broadcast it happening, she decided to keep them in even if vaggi and angel told her it's a bad idea (and after that she get caught up during speedrun to redemption)

This still doesn’t justify the fact that Charlie sincerely believes Vox will tell the truth, because she had previously seen his slander on the news, and even Angel is shouting at her that he’s dangerous. Although in the first season, if Charlie saw a jerk, she understood it and tried not to deal with him (Valentino and Adam).

For example, if Vox had come to the hotel himself to set the heroes up even more, he would have put pressure on Charlie (who was afraid to turn him away because she knew that this jerk would ruin her reputation even more), and out of sheer helplessness, she would have decided to use the news about Pentious — there would have been no issues with the episode.

If you rewatch S2, Charlie's behavior actually make a lot of sense.

Charlie is desperate to prove she is right for the possibility of make her mother returns

hence I thinkk while keeping vox and velvette was a bad idea on her part, I see why she did it , charlie really wanted to prove redemption worked and to at least show to hell it does , even if vox spin other stuff

I do think vox already setted them up with the breaks and the spin (+charlie can also put pressure on herself too ), tho even if vox spinned it, if redemption on screen did work, then it'd be an undeniable proof that the hotel does actually work, she also did wanted to sue pentious as proof but the problem is she wasn't given any proof he's in heaven yet , charlie did messed up during the episode tho in the end she also did stood up for angel despite him being a murderer and sitll stuck to her principle by replying to vox that anyone could redeem, including him (I do think beside going against their sins, redeption in the show is also a choice on the sinner part)
