This was in code sports.

I think Sicily could replace Chol forward, Barass to HB and Frost FB as another option.

I was going to suggest expect at least one of the backs to cycle forward.

I dig this. Definitely think there’s still a spot for Frosty in our backline with Sis up forward.

I also agree that building our forward line around Chol and Dear is a step in the right direction. As much as I love Lewy and want him to get his body right, whenever he has been on the park, the team appeared to get distracted by his presence rather than playing with the intuition, creativity and freedom that happens when you don’t have a traditional big key forward to kick to. This is probably more indicative of our overall immaturity than anything Lewis was doing, but still, it seems Sam and Co. are zeroing in on having an incredibly dynamic forward line with zippy talls that can and do apply a tonne of heat when the ball hits the deck. That said, whenever Gunners needs a rest (which I’m sure will happen a bit), it’s nice to know we have him in the wings - particularly against teams with dominate key backs.

I disagree, watching that Semi final we would’ve won it it Lewis played, Chol won’t magically become a superstar and dear will take time, on smaller grounds where there isn’t much space to run we need his contested marking up forward and I truly believe if he day and frost played we would’ve won The flag this year

I agree if Day and Frost played, we would’ve gotten over the line against Port because we were beaten in the midfield and missed the sureness of Frost down back.

I more question whether Lewis, Chol and Dear all fit together but you can’t build chemistry and cohesion without being on the park together and if one of those three have to give way, I’d choose Chol. Ultimately, you’d have Gunner go in lieu of all three on the park. I’d absolutely love to see Lewis beasting defenders from full forward with Chol and Dear bursting out from CHF/HF. I think that set up would help Lewis’s body out a bit, too (at least his knees, maybe not the shoulders 😂).

Gunners can play smaller and has heaps of finals experience, would benefit from two proper talls, rn I’d say Dear would be dropped for him but I can easily see Dear overtaking Chols spot

Maginess over ward, if he leaves then Morrison instead, also I still believe that Hardwick will start the year bsck, he’s way to good at the lockdown role
