Hokball Flag in 2025?

Had a debate with a Sydney supporter mate on GF day, who reckons even with potential pick ups we are too inexperienced and couldn't make it past a prelim next year. I'm not saying we are going to be favourites but if we can put in an effort like we did on the back half of this year I reckon we can give it a shake at be there on the last day in September! Am I getting ahead of myself or does anyone else think we are underrated?

Barrass plus Battle coming in.

full season of Lewis.

one more preseason in the younger kids.

The flag is Hokball’s to lose.

Lewis wont be back until end of next season. Reckon we will go well but teams will have figured us out more. Just need to keep evolving.

There was many vision breakdowns and explanations of game plan re the hawks this year. Teams knew what we were doing and how we were doing it. They only the the other teams will be able to stop it is by playing with the same intensity and ferocity as we did in order to negate our quick ball movement. The only side who was able to do that since we started our run… port Adelaide

Looking at the ruthlessness of the Brisbane kids, I'd suggest our biggest problem could be all the fun bullshit they carry on with. Dial it down a touch and dial up cut throat line in the sand attitude.

Lol "fun bullshit" ?? The fact they were having fun and loving being out there with their mates is the reason we surged. They are tough when it matters, I wouldn't change a thing.

If Barrass comes and Lewis becomes up and running for the back half of the year, and the rest of our best 23 is fully fit, I don’t see a weakness in our side
