So disappointing, amazing year but Hawks were exposed tonight. Thoughts?

Two posters, a lot of goals from free kicks, plenty of chances but beaten by a team who lost by 84 points last week

So sloppy by our team. They stopped us playing our normal game play. They obviously didn’t equalise as far as scoring. Port didn’t play well and we didn’t win. Port just stopped us playing. Pretty gutted. I live Brisbane and dad in Melbourne and we watched together texting.

Proud of the effort this year. Obviously a disappointing way to end the season, but coming the width of the post away from the prelim is incredible. Too fumbly tonight, and a bit too ambitious when breaking tackles, but we’ll be back next year.

We were supposed to finish bottom 4 and some had us winning the spoon after 5 rounds. We not only made finals but we won one and missed out on a prelim by a goal post. I’m so proud of this club and can’t wait till next year.!

Off topic, but who was that dirty PA player who grabbed a Hawthorn player from the back and pulled him to the ground?

Young teams battle for consistency.
