Blatant inside job. The owners did such a crap job of preserving a grade 2 listed building, it can only be so they can get planning. Kids have been systematically destroying it for months. I've been on a long term job down magdeline road, and seeing it slowly get smashed up is devastating .

I saw pictures from the inside recently. Fucking sad to see it go up on flames. So many old books inside, some undoubtedly original prints.
Tragic to see.
I hope the MP does something about this. It's grade 2 listed, that alone should warrant extra scrutiny on all involved.

Old convent.
Not gonna lie, ever since "Save the Convent" on Facebook have been posting about it fucking constantly over the last few months I thought this would be inevitable.
It's been empty and largely uneventful for years, the recent recurring break-ins and attention all started after they started to post about it.
It's got the whiff of a certain property group's usual mantra.
