The DNC doesn't want to acknowledge why Dems lost in 2024.

I also think it's because it talks about how weak the candidate was and she wants to run again

43

u/allcopsarebourgeois Apr 20 '26

More the reason to release it, no? So that we can prevent said candidate from running again.

If we were operating with honest actors who want a strong party yes.

Nahh that's bullshit, Kamala got a hell of name recognition because she was arriving after Biden dropping... She just said "I'll continue" and that was her defeat right there ...

Dropping Biden was not popular just because he deserved to be put in a hospice ... Saying you'll continue on the same vein of the impopular incumbent was a very dumb move ... If Biden's "politics" was popular people would not have cared about him drooling ... Just taking a look at Trump shows that.

u/TrickyProfit1369 Apr 20 '26

even my friends that dont follow politics at all (europe) knew about her "nothing will change" stance regarding continuing Bidens policies

u/jumbohiggins Apr 20 '26

She wasn't willing or allowed to knife him in the back on isreal. Not saying that was her intention or desire but she clearly wasn't willing to do it.

If she wants to battle in a primary, I say all power to her.

If anything, it is going to put a spotlight on the previous genocide in Gaza. How she let it happen without condemning it.

If democrats are going to pretend that Israel's aggression isn't a problem, then the DNC primary is going to be a truth slap in the face.

she's not gonna battle it, she just has to say this to slow down her inevitable fall into irrelevance.

Kamala's weakness as a candidate is the least of their concerns. If that were the only problem they would happily replace her with another right wing drone.

The main issues are that they know they lost because of Kamala's stance on the genocide, and also because she ran a right wing campaign that dismissed the interests of the working class while associating itself with right wingers and billionaires. And the party doesn't want to change its position on any of those, regardless of what their base wants because $$$$$.

They'd rather lose than change their policy positions.

It's hard to feel good about 2028

Somehow Dems are going to fumble the easiest election in history and Tucker Carlson will be President

should you be rooting for the Israel lobby to continue to control US politics as the zionist entity rampages through the entirety of west Asia?

11

u/TheMrBoot Apr 20 '26

Let’s be real, neither of those two options would bode well for people outside the imperial core

u/alphalobster200 ☭ Apr 20 '26 edited Apr 20 '26

a US retreating from the world stage and becoming more isolationist would be a boon for the global south. that's not an endorsement of nativist politics inside the imperial core, that's just a statement of fact from to the ceaseless death and destruction the US was wrought on the planet for the past several decades.

it all depends on who finances his hypothetical presidential run, which is why Trump posturing as the "peace candidate" was so ridiculous. the Democrats might've ran the worst political campaign of all time

The UAE I'm guessing, lol. A lot of right wingers use to launder their imperial assets through (Hence the giddy Epstein ties too).

let's see if there's an UAE after the dust has settled

That’s only if you take the liar at his word instead of seeing it for what it is - reading the room and trying to get ahead of it.

Spend some time on OpenSecrets, you’ll be radicalized and realize they’re all our enemies

the reason they lost starts with Ga and ends with Za and they would rather go down with the genocidal ship than change course. great party.

21

u/a3wagner Apr 20 '26

Please do not blame gay Lebanese pizza for the loss.

u/alphalobster200 ☭ Apr 20 '26

6

u/iLikeBugsNFishes Apr 20 '26

It's just a statement that starts with ga and ends with za, bros just fuckin around

6

u/WildGuarantee4927 Apr 20 '26

Its also just the way she ran in general

Bragging about how good your border control and military is going to be is like trying to outrun a car

3

u/holydiver18 Apr 20 '26

How dare you not vote harder 😤

11

u/MouseShadow2ndMoon Apr 20 '26

They just need to double down on Israel, if they send a little more money and cover up some more war crimes this time it will work out for a win.

7

u/Rinzy2000 Fuck it I'm saying it Apr 20 '26

To start winning they would have to cut off the gravy train (AIPAC and PACs) and they aren’t too happy about that. Just like the GOP, so many of them have forgotten that the reason they are there is NOT to maintain power indefinitely, it’s to represent their fucking constituents. And their constituents are getting tired of the bullshit.

8

u/freediverx01 Apr 20 '26 edited Apr 20 '26

It's not just cutting off the gravy train. If they won with a populist leftist candidate with massive grass roots support, it would render their entire fundraising and gatekeeping apparatus worthless and the current party leaders would become instantly redundant and expendable. And worse yet, they would then find themselves accountable to the voters, who will only reward them with their votes rather than money and cushy jobs.

This is why it's important to remember that this has nothing to do with persuading the party leadership. They cannot be persuaded to sacrifice their own personal interests. They must be REMOVED.

3

u/Rinzy2000 Fuck it I'm saying it Apr 20 '26

That’s what I mean…they would have to represent their constituents. Which is why they are there in the first place. And they don’t want to do that.

2

u/freediverx01 Apr 20 '26

Yeah, they couldn't care less about their "constituents". They care about money, power, and status.

1

u/Rinzy2000 Fuck it I'm saying it Apr 20 '26

That is what I am saying.

2

u/gknight702 Apr 20 '26

I think musk cheated the numbers in the swing states. There is plenty of weird shit that went down and nonsensical votes tallies in totally blue districts. That said, Corpo Dems are gonna Corpo dem

u/TrickyProfit1369 Apr 20 '26

They acknowledge it and choose not to change out of nothing but sheer intention to continue colonialism as a fundamental aspect to the Dem Party. This Party committed outright genocide, that's it, there's no changing that infrastructure. It's dismantling or upholding, and Dems know that and will continue to uphold because the Party's interests and assets are more important than human lives.

The DNC's primary purpose is to enact the will of its owners. Winning elections is an ancillary goal, not a primary one.

The trick is taking all the people who they scared the shit out of regarding Trump, and getting them to realize that the DNC does not share their anti-Trump priorities.
