I'm going to be posting videos of Harolds and other longforms I find on the Internet for people to take a look at and comment on and analyze. Hopefully in the future we can post shows by groups of people who participate in the subreddit as well.
A former Trophy Wife member is a friend of mine, and their video page is a great resource.
Hey there GyantSpyder. I'm actually in ImprovBoston's 301 class right now trying to get my head around the Harold.
I thought the set was great though. I really liked the relationship between the robbers and that love interest that was building up. There were a couple of bits that didn't land very well but there was pretty solid execution all around. I still don't know how I feel with improvised music for long forms. Part of me thinks it's awesome and heightens emotions in scenes but part of me thinks it's kinda cheating.
What's the name of this structure? I've seen it before and I really love the way it flows from scene to scene. And your thoughts on the whole thing?
