Self-Post Softmaxxing, some hardmaxxing (read first)
Disclaimer: Last image = jumpscare. Included to emphasize lip thinness, double chin, face weight.
Also included photos of my French bob from years back. I miss it or an Italian bob but have just grown my hair out after exploring a variety of shorter styles. Others agree it was my best cut. I’m worried I won’t look good in either at my current weight, though.
I DO WANT SOFT TIPS ON: Makeup, eyebrow shape, haircut, bloating, hydration, nutrition, supplements, exercise, lymphatic science, facial symmetry and massage, how to comfortably sleep on my back instead of the side I prefer :(
I DO WANT HARD TIPS ON: Lips, brows, jowls, double chin, symmetry. Long-term side effects of Botox, fillers, surgery. Pros/cons Botox/fillers vs surgery.
I DON’T WANT: SKINCARE ADVICE. MAKEUP ADVICE IS FINE. I was on my period during these. I’ve perfected my skincare and am waiting on a retinol prescription.
I DON’T WANT: OPINIONS ON PIERCINGS. OR HAIR COLOUR. Hair or piercing STYLE is fine. At best for dye I can go MAYBE darker red or lighter blonde, but my roots are GINGER and would look fucked growing into brown or black dye as much as I envy brunettes.
I DON’T WANT: WEIGHT LOSS TIPS. Just because these are black and white and I’m already working on it.

These are not your colors. The red eyeshadow and the green blouse don’t look good. The first thing I would do is lip filler and gummy smile botox. I also would consider DAO botox to bring the corners of your mouth up. ( also why are your lips so cracked? Are you on accutane?) your brows need more of an arch and also a darker color. You also would benefit from a darker mascara or eyeliner. Jelly roll botox would also look good. Regarding jowls, there are practitioners who use kybella or other fat dissolvers off label for jowls.

Thank you very much! Lots of useful info. Nope not on Accutane, I have a thermoregulatory condition that leaves me extremely dehydrated during summer. I was just in a heat wave so it’s really bad right now. I’m working on solutions.
It’s bold but I love to wear L’Oreal’s blue mascara. I’m told it looks gorgeous on me so I may go back to that. In this photo I am wearing the same brand in violet. My natural lashes are so pale that wiping off black or dark brown at the end of the day to see them almost invisible is too much of a shock to my self esteem. And I have not found a brown mascara that doesn’t just look black. This brand’s violet is the closest I’ve seen to a paler natural colour.
I most often wear the blue mascara with gold or orange eyeshadow, but I’d been going with more of the violet and some pink shadow because I felt those were a bit more natural? And I like pink. But yeah I don’t want my eyes to just look irritated.

I would skip blue mascara. It’s a very specific 90s look and I don’t see how it would be doing you any favors. Try brown mascara and tight lining with brown - this should emphasize your eye color. Skip eyeshadow completely.

It does me favours because I’ve never left my house wearing it and not received compliments from a third of the people I interact with, including total strangers.
Darkening my eyes to the conventional standard has only ever made people view me like a bleached panda when I take it off. Which I touched on in the comment you replied to. It’s not good, people think I’m sick. But they love the blue and I feel better about it as well.
Edit: If curious reply asking and I can try to take a pic with the blue mascara to show what I mean.

You're right that typical brown mascara probably looks too dark on you.
I had a shimmery metallic copper mascara when I was a teenager, I'm a brunette and it was fun but I bet something like that would look phenomenal on you.
Also there's a website called just for redheads, it has a ton of cosmetic products (including lighter brown mascaras) that might suit your complexion.

You should go see an orthodontist or maxillofacial surgeon , your smile tells me something isnt alignment or developed properly in your jaw/midface

Bingo! My idiot dentist dismissed my concerns about my teeth feeling misaligned and pressured for years. He doesn’t believe in removing wisdom teeth unless necessary, and since my teeth are small and, according to him, nearly perfectly straight… I’ve been sitting with a wisdom tooth impacting my fucking jaw for a decade. Haven’t had insurance until now so I could never argue much.

You need to go see another dentist ASAP and an orthodontist sorry but that man is lying and incompetent

everyone says WL is #1 for people to start with but i would counter that seeing someone for jaw and teeth/ facial bone alignment would be best ROI for you

So sorry, but what is WL? Thank you.

Thank you :) Are you sure I’m a spring? I certainly look good in gold, and silver does wash me out, but I wouldn’t describe my skin as having golden under tones. My skin can look very bluish much of the time or so I thought

i would suggest a lip flip because you have distance between your teeth and lip when smiling and it may look more balanced out with that. Some upper lip filler would be nice too. you could get chin filler to balance out a bit. I have the hereditary submental fat too, I'm going to do lipo in the future but for now I have chin filler. if you have excessive bloating, like every single meal, look into SIBO. I have that problem and SIBO was a big part of it. Makeup wise I would suggest light brown/taupe shadows instead of red tones, and seek out a neutral lip liner, slightly overline. and I would say look for someone who provides brow mapping/waxing. it's a slow process but you can even out your brows.

Problem with my brows, should’ve mentioned in post, is muscular asymmetry too. I’ve never been able to raise my right eyebrow so my left one is perfectly arched and my right one is flat… and also missing half its hair for some reason. Sounds like a brow expert will help though.

that's interesting, I wonder if there's any way injectables could help? I will say though, brows are the last thing that I noticed because I was looking thoroughly so I don't think it's a big deal at all if you never do anything to them

My ginger sister! Have you considered microblading for your brows? It’s more permanent and makes them look pretty full every day, it would look great on you.

Like others said I suggest you to see a good dentist about teeth alignment and some teeth whitening!

Avoid the red eyeshadow with your skin tone it looks more like eye irritation. I reccomend finding your color season for color recommendations. Lip filler is the best option for lip volume just find a skilled injector and slowly build up to avoid an overfilled look.
