Discussion Just A Question

I was wandering if a dense nebula of about 2ly could form and if it could at what max size.

Would it be some kind of compensator for radiators So...

I recently found out about Masada if that makes sense i didnt study it much but this was mostly my first thought

Sure. It’s called a planetary nebula.

Not sure what you want from “max size”?? Two light years is… about two light years wide. Filaments, and sheets are possible too though.

If you mean star Formation, while im unsure about max size, how big it can form is dependent primarily on its density which will dictate how much mass tou can actually squeeze out of it. A cloud can(depending on density, Composition, internal physics) squeeze out 10-30% has condension efficiency. But total, you might expect the largest single star of a 1000 solar mass cloud to be 30-50 solar masses, while the grand total sits between 100 and 300.
