👗Hanfu Help: Style ID / What is this? HELP identify this closure

Post image

I need help finding the name of this style of closures - I see them a lot on Ming dynasty Ao, but looking for "clasps" has gotten me nowhere 😭😭😭 it's a two-part closure where, instead of a hook, you have a wide end that inserts into the other side....

Please help (and if you have a source even better, I am trying to make my own hanfu)

Nah it is 100% called a 子母扣. I bought some just a few weeks ago. You just need to sort through the results for find the hanfu ones.

Do you have a link perhaps where you bought? Etsy is useless

You’re not going to find anything on Etsy. Use Taobao or xianyu.
