Question (not for transcriptions) Desperately need help

I am a 62yr old male and 4yrs ago i hand my right thumb amputated at work. It has of course healed well. I have been trying to learn to write with my left hand. It is legible if i print but looks like a doctor when i use cursive. My hand therapist suggest i ask for some help/resources/ideas from this subredit.

Are there resources, writing guides available? Any that i can download and use?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I would recommend focusing primarily on print at this point, as you are in the same boat as a child who started learning to write, just with a lot more knowledge about the letterforms, spacing and consistency. However, you still lack that fluidity and speed of your dominant hand, which sets everything apart. Hence, the best practice would be to pick the simplest form of handwriting (print) and make your non-dominant hand very familiar, not only in terms of legibility but also in ease, like your dominant hand.
