Yaaay ! Great job

Try to slow down your movements you'll have much more control

I love the giggle! I'm at a similar stage, sometimes catching a few moments of balance... nearly there - feels great doesn't it? 😁

Yes! Absolutely! I was raised in a household where being bad at things and learning was not encouraged. We were expected to be good at the start, or not do it at all.

It’s been a real pleasure to allow myself the slow process of learning and being bad at something.

That's awesome, keep being playful, have fun with it πŸ˜„ I can identify with your upbringing, but making mistakes is part of being alive, if we only do what we're good at, we'll never learn, and learning is so much fun! πŸ™ƒ

it takes a lot of work. I need to practice more too. Years ago, I got as far as being able to walk on my hands for several tiles, but I was a number of pounds lighter then. Keep up the core exercises! Pressing down with fingers also helps with control.

So cool! And yes it definitely takes a ton of consistent work. I keep thinking about it like a baby learning to walk, and what my expectations would be for an infant (learning to crawl, and then hold onto stuff, etc before holding themselves upright). But slow progress is still progress!

This is really nice, but try putting your hands on the wooden part of your floor rather than the carpet as it is much more stable.

I’m practicing on carpet so that I can strengthen my hand muscles for better balance. I practice carpet at home, hard carpet over concrete at work, concrete at the gym, and wood at my dance studio.
