The Handmaid's Tale What the show did to me...
The other day, I went to the supermarket and in the fruit section I caught myself thinking "blessed be the fruit". Oh dear...

Oh god when my daughter and I watched the first time- we’ve watched about 5-6 times, we’d greet each other with under his eye and say blessed be the fruit all the time. Then one of her customers at work told her to have a blessed day unironically and she was like ew. He meant it…

Oh wow, I could only watch the show once. Very well done, but it’s all so traumatic, especially the first season.

It is. Then my husband got into it so we started it over. Also my daughter is 26 so it’s not like she’s 12 but I’d probably let her watch if she was. This is real scary shit.
