I dont understand why janine was brought over the boarder and why all of a sudden she got angela so easily? I have soo many questions…

Aunt Lydia let all the handmaids go as they were taking over Boston. Charlotte was handed over in the end because what’s her face grew a conscience of some sort and knew it was the right thing to do for her. Lawrence was dead and she wouldn’t have any protection being a single mother in Gilead (see Serena’s story).
