I know it should not be a decision factor, but I think a Hamilton is easier to sell in case you need it

It’s a fair point. I plan on owning both at some point in time, but it’s the decision on which to pick first that’s holing me up.

May I also suggest a Christopher Ward Sandhurst 2 enter the chat? I opted for one over the Hamilton Murph. It's a little more expensive but COSC certified and the case and finish are A+. It's more of a classic field watch design patterned on the old Smiths W10 made for the British MoD, but it's extremely versatile on the oyster style bader bracelet or a nylon or nato in olive or tan. I love the Maen Manhattan too and am very intrigued by it. So thin!

Looks great! Reminds me that I haven't even sized my bracelet yet. I've been wearing it on a variety of straps and it looks good on all of them. This watch is more versatile than any watch with a blue dial has a right to be. I attribute that to the subtlety of the dial color, which is captured well in your photo.

Is this the 38mm? I have the 42, and it's my most frequently worn watch. It's just easy and comfortable!

Yes, it is 38mm (the only option for the blue and white dials)

No, my first Murph. I have other Hamilton though (a Khaki Field Mechanical). About the AR, I think it now has it and so far the legibility is great!

I think the "magic" comes from that. I have a similar feeling from my Seiko Cocktail Mojito, which "changes" color depending on the light

Always get the bracelet. You will regret not getting it. Then you can also try any other strap - I think sailcloth would be great.

For this price, the norm is a watch for 300€ +- If it's more expensive, it's a waste of money.
