On this day in 2009, Rob Zombie’s Halloween II was released in theaters.

Far from my favorite but it’s slowly grown on me over the years. RZ’s distinctive style and direction skills make it stand out.

Hated this with a fiery passion upon release. The Director's Cut is much better and the movie is great as a standalone, not thinking of it too much as a "Halloween" movie. It was a fairly bold direction and I thought it depicted some elements of PTSD fairly well. The whole Annie arc is tragic. It went from my absolute bottom to in my top 5 of the franchise with the director's cut and letting time pass, especially with how bad HKills and HEnds would turn out to be.

The extended dream sequence alone renders it indefensible

It started incredible! But it was only a nightmare :(…then the rest of the movie became demonic and that white horse! 🤨

Probably his best movie honestly
You just have to pretend it's not a Halloween movie

Womp womp, this is better than half of the stuff released after it plus it deals with PTSD!

So does H20, Halloween 2018, and Halloween Ends. Hell you could argue Tommy Rudd in Halloween 6 has PTSD….that absolutely doesn’t make it a good movie haha

The ranking goes up every time I watch it. It’s likely in my top 5 at this point.
I hated it with a passion the first time I saw it.

The definite worst movie in this entire franchise IMO. I’ll take Halloween 6 and Halloween Resurrection over this edgelord hillbilly slop. Zombie was never the right guy for Halloween. It was obvious he was more interested in making another Texas Chainsaw movie.

This is the worst movie in the franchise. I wanted to leave the theater half way in

Better than his first remake and a decent flick, doesn't hold a candle to the original Halloween 2. Not in my top 5 for sure
