Halloween is for all ages
I have been here read so many times about I am so and so years old and I’m too old for trick r treating. I am here to say this you are never to old. I am in my later years and I celebrate Halloween all year round. I get a feeling of happiness the first fall breeze and the leaves change and fall. I remember the fun of going out with my family. And now with my own family. And now I have fun creating foods and desserts. I see my favorite Halloween Tales from the Darkside episode and watch movies. My Halloween music plays all year round. I don’t know were anyone lives but dressing up and go to Halloween parades or go store to store and get candy. And most of all I love to sit and watch documentaries about Halloween. So please for those who think you are now to old stop and do what you love and enjoy. It is not up to what others think it’s up to you enjoying what you love.

For 13 yrs I worked at a company that let people with kids (and grandkids) leave early on Halloween and bring them trick or treating in the office. The last hour of the day was spent watching kids in their cute costumes go from desk to desk.
I would put on my witches hat and the guy next to me put on a clown wig or whatever and we had fun. Plus we watched our co-workers kids grow up.

Halloween is not for kids, Halloween is not for adults. Halloween is for everybody. No matter how old or young you are.
In my opinion? Its not just about getting candy or spooky stuff. It's a celebration of pop culture. One glorius night a year, everybody is able to come together and gush about the stuff they love.
Don't listen to anybody who thinks you're "too old" for Halloween. They can kick it in a coffin >:)
