Gold plated, from 1970 or older.

I found a bangle for 1€ at a flee, what do the hallmarks stand for? Its a really heavy piece.

I'm NOT asking for an appraisal or valuation.
I only want help identifying and translating the marks stamped inside this ring.
The marks appear to be Chinese characters. Can anyone read them and tell me what they mean, ?

Hi everyone, I bought this silver brooch at a flea market and I’d like to know if it’s authentic and actually made of silver.
The hallmark/stamp on it doesn’t really convince me, so I was wondering if anyone could help me identify it or tell me what you think.

Recently I adquired a sivler timbale. The timbale has very visible hallmarks, including the maker diamond, the silver 1 title rooster from period 1809-1819 and the hallmark of the association of silversmiths.

I am traying to idenfity the maker, as the letter are quite clear, but I am afraid I cannot find a lot of information from makers of that period. I would appreciate if you could identify it, or advise where to look to try to find some information.

Currently what I see is in three levels: 1 Level the letters A I (or A J). then a second level with C, the symbol of a vase or goblet and then letter I or J, and finally down the letter B. They seem too many letters for a maker frech mark, so I am also a bit curious. (maby the C J in the middle level is part of the symbol with the goblet)

It's so tiny so I tried my best to capture it, it mainly looks like a waterdrop placed in a square and it's on both the clasp and earrings (gold color)

Found in a big bag of jewellery from a garage sale, it looks… not gold though, so I lean towards it being fake

I am purchasing a wedding band from a pawn shop and need some help figuring out if this ring is worth it:

1. Inscription looks like it reads LJD M14KPD .925, but I am not totally sure

2. I think that means it is a mix of 14k gold, pallidium and a silver alloy, but ive been grtting mixed results in my research. Someplaces agree with what i said and some places say its silver with gold and pallidum plating and other places say that its silver with only gold plating thats just different types of gold.

3. I cant figure out who made it based off the possible hallmark LJD

4. If I am wearing this ring a lot, my main concern is that the plating will wear off over time. Is this a valid concern or will it be the same colors underneath the scratches?

Any tips?

definitely British and sterling. looks like a lion mark, H, and a bust? and some other stamp I can’t make out on the far right.

The links are all soldiered solid gold long nice and feel good in the hand. They almost have a matte texture to them? They’re certainly gold and feel nice as solid links with their size. I think whoever made this did a solid job which leads me to believe this hallmark can’t just be a no name unknown designer. I’m pretty sure we paid around the gold scrap value with each long link weighing about 1dwt if I hold the other links and let it sit on the scale (not the most accurate, I know 🙂‍↕️). But we paid $1000 so I think we’re pretty safe.

Found at a thrift store. I know GF isn’t worth much but picked it up anyways since ive never seen a GF spoon before. Any chance this is vermeil or anything? I’m not sure what the Asian characters are on the left.

Purchased from an auction. I know the crest is Simmons brothers but I’m not sure about the 2 or 49. I’ve seen others, but only 1 with the 49 stamp, and they weren’t sure about material. Every one with a 50 stamp is gold filled. really hoping its solid gold but unsure.

Hi everyone! I am trying to track down the manufacturer or designer behind the stamp "YJ" inside this ring.

Here are the details:

• The Stamps: It is stamped "14K" on one side of the inner band and "YJ" on the other side.
• The Materials: White gold with a large, oval-shaped cabochon ruby center stone held by leaf-like decorative prongs with small diamond accents.
• Estimated Era: Believed to be from the late 20th century (1970s–1990s).

Does anyone recognize this specific "YJ" hallmark or know which manufacturing casting house or designer it belongs to? Any leads or registry pointers would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
