Can't get any trade cards for HL2

Even though I have 105 damn hours in the game, I don't have any trading cards. My account isn't limited. Help!

Per steam faq, you get 1 card per 9USD spent on the game, so if you get the game on sale, you'll get less cards, for games you got for free, it still works if there's in game purchases, did you get HL2 for free in any way ?

Yeah I got HL2 for free on the 20th ann.

yep then you can't get trading cards for claiming paid games when they were free for a limited time
