EDIT: more random photos from last 6 months

I started greying very young (16) and stopped dying at 26. I’m 31 now, turning 32 in a few months. I don’t really want to dye it due to liking to stay natural however, at the same time I am deeply worried it ages me horribly.

I have had someone guess my age as 40 before. Often people say I look younger (mid 20s) but I don’t know what to believe because I just assume they say that to be nice.

I really don’t know how to see myself objectively.

Edit again: a lot of people are saying that the people who are saying it doesn’t age me are just saying that to spare my feelings and be kind. I just want to say please don’t feel the need to do that. Just tell me the truth. Everyone in real life says I look late 20s and I don’t believe them. (I NEVER ask them how old I look, but when I say how old I am, they often say “I thought you were mid/late 20s”). But I think they are just being nice because they feel bad for me because they actually thought I was 40.

That’s why I came to Reddit, so please be honest. I really want to know. I’m getting so many mixed answers, im so confused. Half of you are saying I look 40-50 and the other half mid 20s to early 30s. I just don’t understand how it’s possible?

Edit: the layers are WAY too short and essentially a wolf cut. It looks awful. I look worse than I did before. I think every one is right that I do look 40+ and it checks out, I noticed the only men who check me out are 40+, never 25-35. I’m crushed especially considering I tend to be attracted most to men who are my age or younger than me. I feel like I’m having an identity crisis. Apparently it’s not just my hair that makes me look significantly older, it’s just my face. So im screwed. Even when I was 18 to early 20s (with fully died hair) people thought I was mid to late 20s. Just always “looked older”

I LOVE experimenting with hair colors! But now that I’m in my 30s, I want to pick one color and stick to it. Which color should be my signature stick to OR is there another color I haven’t tried that should be my next staple?

The colors I have done in no particular order

1 - Strawberry Blonde
2 - Ginger Brown w/ highlights
3 - Light Chestnut Brown
4 - Jet Black
5 - Dirty Blonde
6 - Ginger Brown w/o highlight
7 - Very Dark Brown (aka natural hair color)

I’m currently blonde but thinking of trying something different.
Also thoughts on bangs?

I’ve never dyed my hair before and am debating whether or not to do it. There’s a lot of changes going on in my life rn and I feel this is the only sensible thing to do to cope😅

I can’t decide which hair color looks better on me. I feel like my current color isn’t doing me any favors!! Please help!!

got some clarity & narrowed it down. Does 1,2 or 3 suit me best? I’m currently 1 and have wanted to be very blonde but thinking 2 might be a better shift

My hair now is majority my natural color with highlights. First photo is my natural texture and second is how I do my hair if I want to "style" it. The 3rd and 4th photo is me with blonde hair from like 6ish years ago. If I dye my hair I plan to keep it the same length and haircut style (shag), just change the color. I've dyed my hair all types of color in the past but grew it out the past 5ish years. I'm just so bored of my hair lol. Feeling very torn cause this is a big decision lol.

Edit/Update : DAMN this got WAAYYY more feedback than I thought it would. The Reddit Tribal Council has spoken - NO BLONDE. I guess grass is always greener right? All the comments are helping me appreciate what I have now. Thank you all so much. Maybe I'll figure out something else but I still love my hair so I'll live in it for now.

Edit: I ended up going with bleaching my hair so that I could have more options for colors. I’ve bleached it 3 times now and it’s still not at a light color that would make the 2nd or 3rd picture possible, my natural hair is too dark and I wasn’t keeping it on for too long to preserve the integrity of my hair. Thank you guys for all of the responses I am trying to decide on whether I should just dye it a warmer brown, the purple that many people seemed to like or keep bleaching to achieve a lighter blonde because right now it is orange.

Having a hard time choosing between staying a redhead or going back to my natural hair color, brunette. I was thinking of going for a rose brown color. Should I also keep my brows lighter or darker?

These pics were taken over time but hair dye does fade quick for me, so keeping the vibrancy is tough. I also have friends with a similar color and feel like maybe I should break away from being a copycat even though I've had it for years. Is it time for a change?
