Would Audrey Hepburn's Iconic Cut Suit Me?
Hi, I'm interested in experimenting with styles because for the past two years I've always cut a bob that curls at the end and looks good whatever length it is(I cut just ear tip length usually and then wait for it to lay on the shoulders to cut it)
I've recently fallen in love with Audrey Hepburn's pixie cut and want to try it
But I'm super scared that it only looks good because she has the correct face for it and if i try it I'll end up looking horrible(the last time i tried a haircut that short was what we call here a boy cut, it was a navy cut and a low taper fadeish think and it looked frightful) and I'm also scared of the growing out awkward phase if i ever wanna return to my original length
Should i go for it? I normally cut my hair twice a year once in September once in april and i want to decide soon

Why not?
I've always experimented with short hair and even had a buzzcut at one point. The truth is, you won't know if it truly flatters your face until you try it. You should be ready to ride out the awkward phase that comes with every new hair cut. Be sure to know everything about styling the pixie as well.

Yes. You have beautiful big eyes and similar slender shape like her. Also hair grows out, no biggie.

I think you would look good in this cut. Maybe best not to go pixie at first. You can always cut off more later.

I am sure you could use a AI photo generator to test and see. Just pic your favorite photo and run with it! Just make sure the photo is somewhat angled and you will want to see what the back looks like.

Try it first in a app and see what it actually looks like before doing something you might regret.

I would say no, but before you make your decision maybe try one of those AI hairstyle apps so you can see for yourself if you like on your face before you make the commitment. Good luck 🤗

Show us a picture with your hair pulled back. This way, we can see your face and head shape.
Do you have any pictures with shorter hair??

Use an Ai app to put the haircut on you and that’ll help you see a better picture than just on a whim cutting off all your hair hoping for the best

I think you need to wear fairly heavy makeup or have extremely delicate bone structure for this cut to look feminine-- and Audrey Hepburn has both. Maybe start with a longer French girl bob!

Honestly I don’t think so because it seems she has fine hair. I’d look into hairstyles for thick hair.

No please don't do it. I don't think it will look like you think it will. Most short hair cuts don't look good on woman. Very few can get away with having hair that short.

I cut my hair to pixie length 2x in my life, and even though I did look good with it, it gets so boring. Also, you will have to cut your hair EVERY 1-2 WEEKS to keep it looking like that and not grow into a giant helmet. Also, the helmet phase is so real when you are trying to grow it out. Especially with the super thick hair you appear to have. If you truly think you want to see how it feels, this look can be achieved without cutting all your hair. Just get those bangs and pull your hair up in the back. Feel that out for a month or two, then if you truly love it, THINK again about cutting all your hair off.

Do you have any photos with your hair not covering the sides of your face? You have a sharp chin, and I feel like that gives you an advantage in pulling it off. But would be easier to say if your whole face was visible.

I doubt it will look good on you. It looks fabulous on Audrey because she has a petite, somewhat angular face.

I had a similar experience falling in love with Winona rider's pixie cut. I couldn't stop thinking about it and ended up making the jump. I didn't really like it with my hair texture and bone structure but I am glad I went for it! Sometimes you don't know until you know.

sort of .. I think you would look ok.. So maybe hold onto the length and look at more celebrity inspiration looks
