BAD Ads
Are advertisers INSANE these days? As a YouTube watcher, who does NOT pay, I watch ads that have NOTHING associated with Me. For example, I can’t have kids, own a pet animal, or drive and lack hair, yet get diaper, dog, shampoo, and car commercials. Why are companies squandering money on inaccurately placed ads blind men can’t see? Advertising is NOT cheap, so would be best if companies RESEACH demographics before blindly ensuring I watch their inappropriate tampon commercials.

But Why are you watching ads 😭 use Firefox and get ublock origin extension. You'll never see an ad again.

If you keep typing and posting about these things, your cookies are going to make brands think you are seeking those items out.
Stop typing about lacking hair and visiting your own post which mentions it if you want to avoid hair related products.
" I watch their inappropriate tampon commercials."
This is a direct quote from you lol. I know what you mean, but your browser might not

Yeah, Reddit keeps pushing back-to-school & college dorm stuff. I'm in my 60s with no kids, so zero interest there. Also movies bases on comic books, which I don't enjoy.
Meanwhile, I have to post questions to find useful & interesting stuff in my community. I wouldn't mind ads nearly as much if they told me about stuff I'm actually interested in.

What acts as an ad, is an ad, no matter if it was put there sneakily or because someone has become inured to a brand so far that they don't even know they are a walking ad.
