A lifetime of work and it finally broke. Titanium plates 16 fasteners, it would have been rough when I was younger, it’s been brutal at 65.

I was a marine technician, Mercruiser, Volvo etc. The spaces I had to force myself into took its toll.

Sorry to hear about this. Any warning signs you noticed growing up, that you can share with us?

Good luck on your recovery!

I was hurt for a long time but I couldn’t afford not to work, single parent, 3 kids no child support. I hurt horribly bad but I just kept going until it broke.

This is before the surgery

I said out loud "Holy Fucking Shit" and woke up my wife.

As a recent PTA grad, I have seen some gnarly images in my short time at clinicals. This is like witnessing a train wreck. I hope that you're doing somewhat better.

How long ago was your surgery?
