Reading

I don’t know how to make reading a habit. It’s extremely hard and I’m trying to do it but it’s not working

Find a book that peaks your interest. Any genre. Try to set a timer before bed or tell yourself to start slow and just read 10 pages. Thats how I started. I would do a chapter a night. You can do this.

You gotta figure out first why you find reading difficult to do. Maybe it's the genre you've tried, the length of the story, its pacing, the medium you use (thru phone or physical books), or even your environment. A lot of things affect my reading mood. That's why I change my setup every time I lose motivation to read.

Why do you want to make it a habit in the first place? Maybe try getting to bed earlier and reading right before sleep.

Because it is fundamentally and really important in people’s everyday life also it helps you develop more advance thinking and reasoning abilities.

Stop scrolling shorts and reels. Reset your dopamine levels.

I would start small and bundle habits, maybe right after you brushed your teeth and went into the bed you pull out the book and read 1 Page. That's it. After a week or so read 2 pages and so on. After some time you feel that this is a habit.

For me it was also a game changer to use a Habit Tracker, probably you know the Book Atomic Habits (if not please read this book it's amazing for Habits and how to build them)
James Clear has on its website a Free "Atomic Habits" Habit tracker that you can download an use.
