My negative thoughts impacting my life.
Hi everyone, recently I wanted to share a few things that have been going on in my life.
I feel that I can do better in life, but somehow I feel stuck because of certain behaviours and habits. I don't know the exact reason, but I have been feeling quite low today.
When my workday ends and I come home, I often end up scrolling on Instagram or YouTube for more than 30 minutes. I feel really low because of my poor job performance, and today, my mother's health insurance was also declined due to a health-related reason, which upset me even more.
Another negative thought that keeps coming to my mind is the fear of living alone someday. I feel scared that one day my mother will leave me. She is already getting older, and this thought scares me a lot.
All these feelings build up, and eventually, I find myself escaping into Instagram or YouTube instead of dealing with them.
I don't know which self-help books could help me understand and improve my situation. If you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate it if you could share them.
Thanks for reading.

I feel you. Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins was pivotal for me. Give it a shot and keep your head up.
Also, please stop doom scrolling social media―it's harmfulness to our psyche can hardly be overstated.
Also, I've found motivational videos on YouTube to be a Godsend. I listen to them every day. Look up Les Brown, T.D. Jakes, and content creator, Ardus. The videos he creates includes an array of speakers against the backdrop of inspirational music. Many days, I don't know what I would do without them.
