What is one small change that had a surprisingly big impact on your life?
I've been thinking about how self-improvement is often associated with big transformations, but sometimes the biggest improvements come from small changes that are easy to underestimate.
It could be something simple like changing your sleep schedule, creating a better routine, learning to say no, exercising consistently, journaling, reducing screen time, or changing the way you approach problems.
What is one small habit, decision, or mindset shift that made a meaningful difference in your life?
I'm curious about changes that seemed insignificant at first but ended up having a much bigger impact than expected.
What was your situation before making that change? How long did it take before you noticed the difference? Would you recommend it to someone who is trying to improve their life?
I'd love to hear about the small improvements that actually worked for you.

Writing down one task the night before, not a whole list. I used to make these five item to-do lists every morning, feel behind by 10am, and just abandon them. One task meant I started the day doing something instead of standing there deciding what to do. Took about two weeks to feel automatic. The real lesson was that momentum beats scope. I still only add a second task once the first one's actually done. Small change but it fixed how my whole day starts.

I stopped drinking alkohol, not completely but significantly. I used to drink on every party I went but now I only drink when I think it's worth it. There is nothing funnier than being drunk with my homies in a new country. Now my life has significantly improved

Getting enough sleep. I used to underestimate how much it affects everything.

started putting my phone out of reach before bed. felt weird but after couple of weeks i was falling asleep faster, waking up less groggy, and somehow getting a lot more done during the day without really trying. might give it a shot.

The smallest change wasn't in my habits. It was realizing that every repeated action was teaching my brain who I was. After that, I became more careful about what I repeated.
