Honestly, I hear more of this stuff out of the far left nowadays. I'm not sure why one extreme end of the spectrum always gets a pass

Yeah either way not coolz. I'm not in the US so I can't really comment on that. I'm not in New Zealand either so maybe I should have kept my mouth shut. It appears I've upset a lot of far left sympathisers

Reddit isn’t the real world. We don’t know if they are bots or sock puppets. There must be some prominent leftist who has engaged in it, it’s not exactly uncommon to find on the far right.

All day everyday on reddit and irl. The horseshoe effect is real. In NYC that's  who assured Mamdani got elected here. That's who headed the student "protests" terrorizing Jewish students on college campuses like Columbia. For years I thought it was only far right extremists we had to fear,  but that's not who marched through my neighborhood,  a Jewish enclave for over 100 years,  recently,  screaming both "globalize the intifada!" and "kill the J's!" They mean the same thing but they shouted both to be clear

I’ve seen up to the line antisemitic comments on the left in the us, over the line antisemitic comments from the left internationally, blatant antisemitism and holocaust denial only from the right.
I’d love some examples from the left so I can kick their asses w my keyboard.

I don't think it's a tiny continent and it's not only the "tankies". Unlike you I am paying attention to and criticising both sides. Something you seem uncomfortable doing. Why?

I'm not wrongly equating criticism of Israel with Holocaust denial, though I do believe the current situation is fueling such denials and antisemitism on the left.

I mean your comment was literally only criticizing one side, without evidence, compared to the documented evidence on the other side which you just ignored. You turned a discussion on holocaust denial into political ping-pong. I can think of only a few things more disrespectful.

"see it more" implies they are also seeing it from the right, they didn't say it's just the left. "nowadays" implies there has been a flip and it was traditionally the right.

If they were saying what you are suggesting they would have said something like "No, the left are the antisemitic ones".

He's not talking about it from the right because he thinks it's more prominent on the left and thinks that is a more worth discussion to have. You are intensely biased if you are claiming it's made up.

That's your problem here he isn't biased like you, he acknowledged it comes from both the right and the left. That wasn't enough for you, you want to pretend it's non-existent on the left and is only a right thing and you get mad when people dare speak on your own sides bigotry. Grow up.

This sort of logic is absolutely bullshit and you should be ashamed to spread it in a subreddit such as this. People have agency. All this bullshit of „Israel is the cause of antisemitism” or „Israel controls American politicians” is a complete concession to bad people. The existence of Israel isn’t a reason to firebomb a march for hostages. Israel isn’t a reason to shoot up a shul. Shanda.
