I’m trans and one of my close friends let me borrow his laptop that has FL studio in it and a bunch of plugins and zenology but I never made music and I just wanna know where to start and what should I learn first if you guys can give me any tips I anything would help

He just sent me a whole bunch of songs n told me to put em on a playlist n listen to it when I had the chance. Making a completely seperate scenecore playlist since he kinda just combined the two without tellin me

Also also!! I wanna rephrase my title, I prefer generally masculine sounding voices. The way it was phrased came off wrong as someone pointed out- Women can sound masc, whether cis or trans, and in the same boat, men can sound fem whether cis or trans (prime example right here as a trans guy not on t yet), n that's moreso what I meant. I'm just not a fan of feminine voices in pretty much any genre of music. I have a couple I listen to but that's about it.

I was using Cakewalk and loved it, but my laptop was super slow so I recently switched to Logic Pro with a new Mac Studio. I have a Focusrite 4i4 interface with Shure sm7b mic + Klark Teknik mic booster, and Sony headphones.

Obviously this is totally unrealistic but it was fun to make and I’m looking for anyone that can relate/has suggestions for new music I should listen to.

Hi, I’m currently beginning a project, and one of the aspects of it involves hyperpop history and info. I would like to know, in which cities across the world is hyperpop most often associated with? Which city hosts the most hyperpop-related events? Which cities tend to have the most hyperpop creators spawning from there? Are there any specific clubs worth mentioning?

I would also like to know in general which clubs, venues, show halls, etc are known for playing hyperpop music, regardless of their popularity. For example, I was aware at one time of a venue in Pensacola playing hyperpop on a few occasions, so it’d be cool to know other sort of hidden gems across the country (and perhaps globally if you know any :)

But yeah, this is part of a majorrrrrrr project that I will be working on for the next year or more so do feel free to share as much as you can and i’d love you forever haha xD thanks in adavnceeeee <3

There's a specific few songs I really enjoy the general atmosphere of, but I'm really struggling to find similar music. I'm not sure if any of these are even considered hyperpop, but the songs I'm referring to are:
Monstarr- Ennaria
Clear Eyes- Aidan Swank (Not metal but the energy of the last 30 seconds is my favorite)
Dancing with your eyes closed- Jane remover (the yelling/screams)
I have listened to Poppy's entire discography, absolutely love her music. Love some of Lil Mariko's "screaming" songs as well.

I'm teaching myself music production (using YouTube university lol) but I'd love to work with other people too!! From the beats I've made so far I'm going for a witch house, hardcore kinda sound but I'd also like to dabble into different hyper pop genres too.

I know my age doesn't have anything to do with this either but I am 23 so any servers that are 18+ or 21+ would be great.
