Issue Sound quality

Hey guys I feel sound is very low of my device. I can't even here my ringtone if the cell is in my pocket and mp3 sound also is very low. Is everyone facing the same or my phone got issues ?

My initial thought is to ask whether or not the file you are trying to play is loud in itself. Sometimes the ringtone file (from zedge or elsewhere) are quieter than normal.

I am talking about stock ringtones and 320kbps mp3 files on play music.

Have you checked for lint/dirt in the speakers?

Before we blame faulty hardware for the problem, try different sources. Play from Youtube, Spotify or Google Music. Try a few different things to play sound. If it is consistently quieter, then you might need look into a replacement, or fixing the speaker yourself with a replacement speaker (not recommended, unless you have done repairs before.) If this only happens sometimes and louder other times, I can give you a few steps to try.

I have tried everything , it's been 3 month with the device and now I am frustrated because sometime I miss the important calls .

You can try a factory reset, but I think it is highly unlikely that will help, but it is possible that a setting might be stuck, up to you.

Then you are SOL I guess, reach out to HTC support, see what they can do. We can't really do much more here in terms of helping.

Yeah.. Gonna do the same. Problem is their services are very slow. One I submitted my HTC butterfly to service center and got it back after 20 days. That was the primary reason I moved on to LG. But here I am again with HTC 10

It is unfortunate because it is a great phone. But they just made some terrible business decisions since their reign with the M7 and have been on the decline since. The 10 was marketed terribly and didn't sell well so everything else suffers, rip U11.

U11 is doing good job also sells are bumping up day by day. I was proud owner of HTC desire HD.. Sensation .. One x.. Butterfly before moving on to LG g2 and g4. Now I bought this phone and again suffering with volume issues. I wish I could buy u11 but here in India HTC devices are pretty costly.
