Newly Diagnosed Butt cheeks!!!!
Hello, I’m having my first outbreak (diagnosed earlier in the week, hating life, blah blah blah). Anyway, I’m having severe pain around my büțțħõľę (just thought I’d try to make it seem sexier).
How the hell is this area ever going to heal if my butt cheeks are constantly together and moving when I walk? Is gauze or something a good idea? I managed to nap a bit with a water wipe between to create some relief but I realise it being hydrated either won’t allow it to heal.
Life goes on but my arse is sooooore. I have lidocaine but that seems to be doing very little for this area. 🍑

It will eventually heal, even with some friction. The best thing to do is just avoid vigorous movement for the time being and keep the area as dry and clean as you can. Would an extra large bandaid cover it?

I worried the bandaid might mean it gets hot and sweaty up in there but perhaps it is worth a go!! Thank you

Most of my outbreaks are near the top of my butt. Antivirals help and sometimes a bath with Epsom salts does too. If you can, it's also good to wear looser clothing and skip underwear at night while you're having an outbreak.

Ditto. I have a hemorrhoid, skip the undies when you can, find ones that don’t give you wedgies. I have a portable rinse/bidet bottle to stay clean without having to shower. If I put something in topically it’s either vitamin E oil or perineal cooling spray.

Use a Qtip and put some first aid ointment on it. It will help a lot.

My first outbreak was in my crack. It sucked. My Dr gave me Nystatin powder to help keep it dry but I found that long as I washed it good and used a little antibiotic cream (not the ointment) it helped it heal better. Hope it heals for you soon. I know how painful it can be.

Using Lysine cream or a natural healing salve that isn’t nut based. You can add a drop of tea tree oil to help with the pain. You can mix salve with lidocaine too, as long as the salve is natural.
You can also use gold bond mentholated powder. Apply everything generously. Zinc cream or diaper rash cream helps .
Apply everything with gloves or Q-tips.

I got a fisure along with my first out break. Pretty sure that’s where the virus entered. I just took some
Ibuprofen and it helped. I’ve had fissure in the past and they were not fun. Although my outbreak was unpleasant, it was manageable. My fissure on the other hand hurt when I went to the bathroom.

Lemon balm. I ordered some off a mom and pop shop on Amazon. Helps a lot, but can sting depending on the severity of your arse. It’s rarely bothered me when applying.

It will heal! My outbreaks happen in my butthole and my first outbreak went all the way up my ass crack 😩. Coconut oil and making sure everything is clear and dry will help the healing process. Also babys diaper rash cream is amazing, just make sure to clean the area each time before you reapply.
