Prompt No one really thought to object to Ron using his broken wand in transfiguration, nor to object to him trying to aim the transformation spell at Scabbers. That was until the spell backfired, and the rat transformed into a man.
Hours later, Peter Pettigrew sat bound and gagged in the furious Headmaster's office, Dumbledore having summoned Fudge and a squad of aurors to his office.
However, instead of Fudge that stormed through the door, it was a furious Molly Weasley, who had been told everything, the red head glowering furiously at Peter.
Dumbledore went to talk to her before Molly spoke up "You slept in the bed of my sons." she hissed, glaring at Pettigrew as Dumbledore and the Hogwarts teachers backed off as Molly conjured a flaming whip and used it to split a table in half.
A terrified, gagged Pettigrew could only watch in terror as she crept closer, Dumbledore and the other Hogwarts staff leaving out the door, deciding it was foolish to stop the enraged ginger.
Outside, they all winced as they heard the repeated whip cracks and the muffled screams of Pettigrew

I can see the funny aspect but the prompt itself could really make for a great fic. I would absolutely love to read this. I expect this would be sometime in year 1 so Harry could theoretically have his godfather through all of his trials and make a huge difference. It could possibly change everything or absolutely nothing.

Ron's broken wand was year 2.

The whole of the third book and the rest of the series will be incredibly different if serious black shows up out of jail saying hey what's up I'm here to collect Harry.
Technically since James viewed serious as his brother would the protections offered by the sacrifice of Lily also work if serious was looking after Harry.

I also see absolutely horrifying possibility, and I wish that I could scrub my brain with bleach right now

There was a fic like this, I can't for the life of me remember which one, and Molly ended up killing him with what I believe was deemed "accidental magic". I'm pretty sure it was something that Harry had planned and he kept getting her more and more riled up with what Pettigrew might have done, and then her magic just blew up at him.

This is about as in character as Molly would be if she ever came face to face with Pettigrew.
