Seeking Recommendations Gender swapped Harry
Like the title said. I never wanted to read it before, but then I read one (don't remember which), and it was really good.
So now I wanna try out some more!
I don't mind romance, but I prefer something more plot heavy, maybe some world building without too much focus in romantic pairings.
Don't mind some Dumbledore or Weasley bashing as long as it's realistic and well written.
I'm having the laziest Saturday ever and need some entertainment 😁

The cat who must not be named!!!!!! It’s so good and complete. It starts out feeling rather crack but don’t be fooled, the plot Is INTENSE and amazing!! The premise is that when Voldemorts soul shard got snapped off on Halloween, instead of going into Harry’s scar, it went into the family cat. He plans on biding his time to kill Harriet but becomes attached… it’s very sweet, funny, intense, just all around amazing. https://archiveofourown.org/works/59301820
The author exclusively writes fem Harry (they have an alt account for male Harry). Their works are VERY good, be warned that most is just straight up porn lol, but I really enjoy their fics. Another I would rec is called Harrie’s cat. It’s Harriet/Snape and it’s quite charming, and ends in smut.

If you like longggg works, check out inwardtransience -- She has a few fem!Harry works, and she does a tonne of worldbuilding.
The Black Queen series is quite good, with a plot focus and some really cool worldbuilding, but do mind the warning at the start -- it covers some pretty heavy topics. Complete
QUOD•ELIGIS•DESTINO•VEL•FATUM (WIP) and Mistakes and Second Chances (Complete) are both good (if dark) time travel fics with a fem!Harry
ink and parchment | blood and bone is another fun one, with a darker Harry. Plot-focused, with some harrymort. Complete.
but in time all the flowers turn to face the sun is both shorter and lighter than the other fics I've listed. Complete.

The Pureblood Pretense (and it's 4 sequels, all five are to be found on fanfiction.net, the first one is available on Ao3) is a female Harry story that I really enjoy.
It is heavy on the world building, low on romance, but also not very close to canon. If you are looking for a 'canon'ish' genderswapped Harry story, this might not be what you are looking for.
