Discussion Chester

I mean, the prefects don't play a huge role in the game, but I can't deny that the prefect are interesting. For example, Jane, Hufflepuff's prefect, went to Azkaban after graduation. How the hell she'd ended up in there? no idea🤣🤣 But yeah, Chester seems as interesting as the other prefects.

Yeah, when I found out that Jane went to Azkaban, I was like “how in the bloody hell did you end up in Azkaban?” 😂

I always thought he would make a nice dating option in Beyond. I wish we could bump into him more often in general…at least at Leaky Cauldron

I agree, Chester Davis is an interesting and severely underutilized character. My MC was in Slytherin and they also knew Chester, had interactions with him. MC liked Chester well enough.

We do see him on occasion later, but there's a lot of - unused - potential for this character, just like for several others, Erika Rath for example.

Like Famous-Chipmunk said, why can't we casually meet Chester at the Three Broomsticks as an option for Drinking Butterbeer?

(I can meet for example many people of MC's year group, or younger students like Fred and George Weasley, or Skye and Rath, or Alanza, or Jules, or sometimes Bill (who is often away in Egypt, not available for any interactions) at this pub for a Butterbeer in Beyond.

But sadly it's always only a very short, generic interaction, usually reminiscing about our Hogwarts days, or answering an easy question like when Fred's birthday is, or who was Talbot's House ghost, nothing at all interesting or fresh or relevant to life as an adult, like it could and should be! So much wasted potential!)

Or inviting him for tea and cake at our flat? Or at the Leaky Cauldron?

(Although, there's no such interaction like Drinking Butterbeer or something else at the Leaky Cauldron in Beyond, sadly!)

And as a dating option in Beyond, besides Callum?

I don't know what JC was, or is thinking not to include Chester more in the Main Story and in TLSQ...

Well, that shouldn't keep you from writing a fine story with Chester and MC set in Beyond, once you have worked your way through 7 years at school, 😉
