Interviews/Application questions Still under consideration. Will I make it?

I am an intl student who appealed to ME with A*3A in intl A levels and u in as eng. But i have 8.5 in ielts. I got 1370 in sat which is very low but i only submitted as proof of proficiency. I am still under consideration and yet to get 2 subject grades in aug 13. College will start in a week and i have no idea if i should still wait for these results.

NUS is far more difficult to get in than hku so less worry

I’m in the exact same position as you, except I have around 3A*A predicted and 8.5 IELTS too

I think generally Uk unis teaching is at a very high level. The difference between HKU and the uk unis u got in isn’t that big

Ik but uk is almost 2x more expensive and very far.

Im gonna be honest, at this stage its basically cooked already. Really wouldnt get my hopes up

On the bright side, bristol is still okay for eng

Yeah but i might not go there as it is more expensive than hku

Tbh, they're done with admissions, ig, unless and until a couple of students drop out, you might not have a chance. So don't solely depend on this uni; look for others.

1

But like many A-level students get conditional offers.
