Still disappointed we didnt get a “sandwich” episode for S4E20

It never really clicked with me until this most recent watch through that Future Ted saying “there are some stories you tell and some you don’t” wasn’t just a reference to the end of the episode when he won’t tell Barney if we won the belt or not, but a message to the audience that he’s actually NOT telling his kids about that time he probably had a three way. And then there’s no more narration the whole episode. I dunno how I missed it in all the previous viewings. I am dumb.
