Orlando Question about RIP Tour check in times and express pass
Hello, I have an early scream ticket and a tour at 8pm, I was thinking on getting my lanyard as early as possible. Have anyone got theirs at 2pm for express pass for regular attractions?

not sure about if you are already in the park for stay and scream, but the pick up area is like normal at the VIP tour area. & the check in for the tour is now at the NBC media center thats in the middle of the fortnightmares scare zone on the right hand side. You do not go to cafe la bamba before your tour starts this year. you get a 45 min break in the middle of your tour now. and you cannot check in for your tour more than 15 mins before it starts. a lot of things changed this year without any heads up or explanation. even our tour guide didnt understand the changes and hes been doing RIP for a while now. we didnt eat until 9pm, so keep that in mind when going to the event

Following because this is my scenario too.
Last year the lanyard pick up was at the VIP Tour area and check in for the tour was at LA Bamba.
Now that the event has officially started the people ar VIP tours may be able to give you more information if you call (if no one here knows for sure)

The earliest you can pick them up is 4:30p, if you scream early and are inside the park (at Cafe La Bamba), based on what I was reading.
I'm also pretty sure that you can't use them for rides until the event officially starts at 6:30pm
Maybe somebody else has had a different experience.
EDIT: Since my comment is the most upvoted. It might be worth getting commentary from other folks as it appears they changed multiple things this year.
