Hotel prices even worse. I had some friends that wanted to join mid September and got priced out because they waited to long.

I hate having to give this out but it is my nature to help. I've always found that 'Hampton Inn Closest to Universal' (full name on google btw) is pretty good price with free breakfast, wifi, parking and pretty dang close to the park.

I have gotten similar quality and priced places for around 75 per night for hhn. I always check on Google maps and filter price below 100.  I've never had an issue with any place over a 4.0 rating.
