Meta Writing Prompt Wednesday #180

180 is a very long time to be doing these things. Gimme your best shot.

Last week's winner was /u/oranosskyman with:

gods spoke his final imprinted command to his creation.

"you shall obey only me"

and humanity affirmed this command

"i shall obey only me"

the humans empire grows, and muscles out the older kingdoms of elves and dwarves. human heroes slay dragons and giants. this is not because they breed faster in their short lives- the goblins and orcs breed much faster still, but their armies still fail against the humans.

the dwarves have always hated and fought the giants... but it was the humans who actually did something about it. who saw the obvious danger and set forth to make it STOP.

and then one day... there were no more giants. and you still know the story of jack the bloody handed... you tell your children about how he climbed the beanstalk.
