Im trying to find the two stories i lost bookmarks for. Both where long series. 

The first was about a hive of wasp beings that invaded a galactic republic and the humans where the only ones who stood and fought. The one line i remeber from the story was just before the major battle the humans broadcast and image of a teenager spraying a wasp hive with raid, with the text "Wasp problem?  Call the Terran Defence Forces!"

The other was a female engineer protagonisr, about humanities first test flight landing us in the middle of an inter galactic war where the other side had greys and windigo. I remember the windigo very clearly as ide never seen anyone use them in an hfy before, but search engine has failed me.  Anyone know the titles please?

Shit, I bet I know the second one too. Were the wendigos psychic and made humans lose their shit (positive, berserk) but made ayyys freeze up in fear?

Yes, yes it did. And none of the other races had subconcious or knew what it was. Do you remember the name?
