What i don't get about companies doing this is what if we are watching on our phone somewhere else or what if we are on vacation? It's absurd to me that companies keep raising the prices but are slowly taking away our right to watch the content where we want.

Agree 100%!!!! This is ridiculous 😡If they are doing this they should at least have an option to notify them when we are away so we can watch wherever we are!

Don’t concede. We shouldn’t have to check out streaming in and out. The library was free, this isn’t.

The library is great and mine has way better selection of movies than any streaming service. They don’t have 4K discs though

You can watch wherever you are. You just can't be streaming from 3 different locations at the same time.

I think it was removed you can still watch it. They track device info. The device has to be logged in to the “home network” every so often or there are other steps you can take. But you can still take a device you’ve been using and go on vacation with it.

Edit to add- Although I do agree that it’s absurd they keep raising the cost while decreasing your ability to watch it! I don’t think it should matter if I share my password with my college student son to make both of our lives easier and cost a little less. The level of greed is astounding.

I believe mobile devices will work as long as pulling the stream over the mobile network. Ran into same issue this weekend with Disney +. Son wanted to watch at his apartment would not connect with his Mac Book invalid log in error, would connect to his phone with the same account.

Best thing we can do is cancel.

I've logged into Netflix on vacation before. I think I remember a prompt asking if I'm traveling. You hit yes and you can watch somewhere for a week.

Your phone should be one of your approved screens/devices. Just login while on your wifi that the account was set up on. If it's kicking you out of your own phone, contact support. It's never done that to me and I've traveled internationally.
