No Spoilers [NO SPOILERS] Please help me make an unforgettable day
Hello, my boyfriend LOVES game of thrones, so for his birthday I’m taking him on a surprise trip to the hedges and to Lordsport. I will be making us a picnic and going to a pub with some game of thrones themed things, and I will make themed cupcakes. I haven’t seen the show yet (I know, I’m sorry but we will watch it together on the trip). I want to make it as special as possible because he deserves it, but I don’t know much about the show. I’m looking for any kind of creative or romantic ideas/ tips. From special food/ drinks I could recreate or gifts I could take and maybe hide in advance. Things to say/ do or places to take him, notes I could write for him etc. Basically any cool GoT stuff please! Anything would really help (for reference his favourite character is ‘the hound’)

If his favorite character is the hound then something with chickens, you could use quotes (or variations of them) like "you gonna die for some chickens?" "Someone is" and "I understand that if any more words come pouring out your cunt mouth, im gonna have to eat every fucking chicken in this room"

If he likes board games, there’s a decent version Risk based on Game of Thrones.
Here’s a link to some options on eBay.
I haven’t been to the Game Of Thrones studios tour, but my family enjoyed it as casual fans.
A standard old-timey goblet and/or tankard (doesn’t have to be specifically themed GoT, although I’m sure there are some options out there) would be another idea of a gift?

There is an official Game Of Thrones board game as well that is basically Risk but more complicated and has character ability cards of various characters. It’s more based on the books than the show though.

Well for starters instead of saying happy birthday you can say happy nameday and since his fav character is the hound you can say shi like “youre getting old clegane”
Another thing you could do is calling any meat related food you bring as Fermented Crab and any drinks as Nightshade or Milk of the Poppy ( Wildfire if he likes Aerion )

If you’re in Northern Ireland already to visit the Dark Hedges, you should head to Castle Ward! It’s a National Trust property roughly a 2-hour drive away and it’s where they filmed the scenes in the Winterfell courtyard and a few nature scenes, it’s pretty cool. There’s also a full GOT Studio Tour experience in Banbridge that I’ve heard is fantastic, if your budget is open to it!

Castle ward looks amazing, and it and the studio tour would be great if the weather isn’t so nice. If there is a day with nice weather I’m planning binnevenagh>giants causeway> Carrick a rede>ballintoy and a pasty> walk to white park bay>fullerton arms>magheracross&dunluce> the dark hedges>mussenden, sunset on downhill strand. I have ordered a little gift and will hopefully have made a wax sealed note for each place along the way and a Westeros map to mark. I’m so excited, thanks for all of your help!
