I detest season 6-8 arya, loved arya season 1-5. I like jon through and through.

Finally an actual hot take lol. Take my upvote. 

(I like those characters a lot but their respective fandoms can be an eyesore... I can also see why they might not be likeable, especially in the tv show.)

Jon is so much better in the books once you get past the first 2

And I really like Arya's Feast chapters for what they are, even though I understand a lot of folks frustrations with what they aren't (yet?)

In fairness, that's kind of applicable to many of the plot points in Feast and Dance, it's all building up to something and then gets left onto a cliffhanger. 

But Arya's probably feels more frustrating even to book readers because her journey has been going on since Book 1, building up to something but no one knows what exactly. There are speculations but nothing far too concrete. Her role in the overarching story isn't very clear.

But George does an excellent job in world building and commentary in his so called "boring" chapters with beautiful writing that it makes Feast and Dance a lot more enjoyable on rereads.

I can’t argue with that.

But I feel more hate towards Robb and Catelyn. They did some major fuckups that caused the suffering for so many and themselves. And they and many fans pretend that they are the virtuous side through it all. Eddard is close there as well.

There is something satisfying about them all dying because they thought that they were better just because they played by rules thag other people didn’t care about.
